Step 1: Initiate the connection in BrandSuite
- Log in to your BrandSuite account and go to Settings > Domains.
- Click Add Domain or Connect a Domain.
- Enter the root domain name (e.g., yourdomain.com) and click Continue or Add.
Step 2: Configure DNS records with your domain provider
- BrandSuite will attempt to automatically identify your provider, or it will provide you with the specific BrandSuite records you need to add.
- Log in to your domain provider’s account (where you purchased the domain).
- Find your DNS management or DNS settings.
- Add the records exactly as shown by BrandSuite. This may include:
- An A Record with the Host/Name set to @ (or your root domain) and the provided IP address.
- A CNAME Record with the Host/Name set to www and the provided value.
- Save the changes in your domain provider’s dashboard.
Step 3: Verify the connection in GHL
- Return to the BrandSuite Domains page. The system will begin verifying the DNS records.
- Be patient; DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet.
- You will see a success message, such as a “Yay!” message, when the connection is complete.
- If it doesn’t connect immediately, try again in a few minutes or hours.
